Abstract

Digital Theme Week is Hungary’s largest digital education event, launched in 2016 with the aim of enhancing students’ digital competencies and 21st-century skills through the promotion of project-based pedagogy supported bydigital tools and innovative methodologies. In 2025, our secondary school implemented a complex entrepreneurialproject titled “Creative Generation – The Plans of Tomorrow Today” within the framework of this program. Theproject had a dual objective: to develop students’ digital skills and to foster their entrepreneurial mindset. Nearly onehundred students, working in teams, brought their business ideas to life using various digital tools—including AI-based video editing, web design, online surveys, podcast creation, and 3D modeling—combined with creative collaboration. The learning process culminated in a gamified “Shark Tank”-style closing event, where teams pitched theirbusiness ideas before a jury composed of local entrepreneurs. Throughout the project, students not only gainedfirsthand experience in preparing and launching a business, but also improved their teamwork, communication, creativity, and self-confidence. They discovered that learning can simultaneously be an experience, a creative process,a skill development journey, and a means of building community. The project received national recognition (3rdplace in the high school category of Digital Theme Week 2025), highlighting its exemplary nature.
