Abstract

A special project between university and kindergarten, where we aimed to make the concept of artificial intelligence understandable for preschoolers. To do this, we used a robot of our own design. As the robot of our knowledge evolved, the kindergartners could follow its development day by day, as they taught the tool. In a playful way, we developed the digital competence of the kindergarten children in a complex way, while also shaping the areas of mathematical, environmental and mother tongue competence, among others. The project involved a university mentor, a pre-school teacher and a student pre-school teacher.
